Caravan of Dreams 2
As an adolescent, Kyle Morgan (André Relis) was considered bright and intelligent, but out of control. His mother (Jean Carol) and father (Lou Savage) thought it was his environment and wanted to put their son, against his will, into a private school. Kyle rebelled, often getting into one kind of trouble or another, frequently threw temper tantrums, even cursing at his parents, eventually running away from home at the age of 14. David (Ben Gould) is discovered by Patrick (Sean Michael), a perverte skin head drug dealer who finds the 16 year old sleeping next to a dumpster after being kicked out of the house for being gay. Patrick helps David get on his feet, but not without ulterior motives. 14-year-old Bobby (Ernie Severe) ran away to the streets to avoid the physical and mental abuse of his alcoholic mother. Soon, Bobby is befriended by Randy (Paul Ryan), and Kyle. They warn him to stay away from Patrick, but his intrigue gets the best of him, and so does Patrick! Speed Bump takes a "day & night in the life" view of these kids on the streets and how they get by. Some turn to prostitution, others sell drugs, and most do whatever it takes to survive unfortunately all of them don't. (91 min.)
Preceded by Michael's short film Plastic Dream Bag. (5 min.)
