Kalin's Prayer The visually trippy ride tells the story of a charismatic, crack-addicted lesbian model as she battles for the love of the New York civil rights attorney who comes to litigate in her bible-belt hometown of Tulsa, Okla. and confronts the memory of sexual abuse that is tearing them apart. Psychedelic in-camera effects and creepy sound design stick you inside Kalin's head as it becomes the battleground for the war between survival and self-destruction in Kalin's journey from her born-again parents in the Midwest to the unforgiving streets of Manhattan.
